Parañaque LGU inaugurates 2 hospital facilities

The Parañaque City government inaugurated two new facilities at Ospital ng Parañaque 1 (OSPAR-1) in Barangay La Huerta on Saturday, June 3. Mayor Eric Olivarez, his brother Representative Edwin Olivarez, and OSPAR-1 Director Dr. Jefferson Pagsisihan led the inauguration of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) located on the second floor of the hospital and the tertiary diagnostic laboratory on the sixth floor. Olivarez officially announced that the residents can now avail of new services from the hospital. He said the hospital occupancy rate is currently at 80 to 90 percent and the rate will increase with the construction of the seven-story building for Women and Children’s Hospital beside the OSPAR-1. The mayor congratulated the hospital under the leadership of Pagsisihan, including the other doctors, nurses, and staff for their dedication in giving effective medical services to residents.
