12 nabbed in Bulacan anti-criminality operations


 Bulacan police collared 12 persons, including a most wanted person, six drug peddlers and a motorcycle thief, in a series of anti-criminality operations on Monday, June 5. 

Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan Police Provincial Office chief, said the pursuit operation carried out by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Bulacan Provincial Field Unit in collaboration with the Pandi Police Station, led to the arrest of Jacinto Libiran Jr., 38, a businessman, of Malibong Matanda, Pandi.

Col. Arnedo said Libiran Jr., tagged  as most wanted person (municipal level) in Balagtas, Bulacan, for multiple crimes, including five counts of qualified rape, three counts of sexual assault, and two counts of violation of Republic Act 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act**). These charges are stated in a warrant issued by Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 16 in Malolos City.

In addition, four other wanted persons were apprehended by tracker teams from Plaridel, City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM), and Paombong Police.

The individuals apprehended include Jayson Dela Cruz for rape; Marvin Caritos for reckless imprudence resulting in damage to property; Eduardo Acuram for robbery; and Rhyel Camua for child abuse or violation of Republic Act 7610.

Meanwhile, the Station Drug Enforcement Units of Malolos City, Meycauayan City, and Plaridel police stations conducted anti-drug operations, resulting in the arrest of six drug personalities.

The arrested individuals were identified as Ruelito Narciso and Nenita Ventura from Balite, Malolos City; Jesus Manuel and Jomarie Manuel from Lawa, Meycauayan City; Lowell Buna from Bayugo, Meycauayan City; and Jomel Laureo from Lumang Bayan, Plaridel.

The police confiscated a total of 24 sachets of suspected shabu and marked money during the operations.

In Baliwag, police responded to Barangay Tibag, where a motorcycle was forcefully taken by a suspect. 

The police swiftly initiated a follow-up operation and managed to spot the suspect, Oliver Mardan, in Carpa Village, Brgy. Sabang, Baliwag. 

Mardan was apprehended while riding the stolen motorcycle.
