ZAMBOANGA CITY – Two siblings identified as high-value drug targets were killed while seven of their accomplices were arrested during a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Raymundo, Jolo, Sulu on Sunday, June 3.
Police Lt. Col. Annidul Sali, Jolo Municipal Police Station chief, identified the fatalities as Julman Damming Hasanan, alias “Julman,” 37; and Alnajer Damming Hasanan, alias “Alnajer,” 34.

They were also tagged as hired killers.
Sali said the poseur-buyers were negotiating with the suspects when they sensed that they were dealing with the police.
He said the suspects fired at the policemen who retaliated and killed two of them.
No casualties were reported among the PNP operating team.
Other suspects were identified as Moises Abdulahab Saidul, alias “Mos,” 51; Ibrahim Sarani Hasanan, alias “Ibs,” 30; Parasat Aming Sangkula, alias “Pal,” 57; Fadzramier Asanan Saidul, alias “Fadz,” 19; Alvin Asdali Biting, alias “Alvin,” 40; Jayzon Saddin Pereyra, alias “Jay,” 25; and Alnaser Abdurasul Alamhali, alias “Lam,” 38.
Authorities seized two packs of suspected shabu worth P54,400 from the slain suspects and 12 sachets of the illegal drug worth P13,600 from their cohorts, marked money, and firearms.
The suspects and confiscated items were turned over to the Jolo Municipal Police Station for disposition while the bodies of the fatalities were turned over to their family.
