Anthony Aberin in Cebu on Monday, June 5. “We met with Gen. Aberin to talk about coming up with measures as part of our goal to solve these perennial problems on illegal drugs, illegal gambling, and criminality in Bohol. We appealed to the regional director for concrete actions on the issues raised,” Aumentado said. Aumentado described the meeting as “productive.” “We are hoping that we can put an end to these illegal drug problems that have destroyed a lot of lives in our province,” said Aumentado. Six persons were arrested for illegal logging and another six for illegal fishing. The BPPO seized 17 loose firearms and arrested four individuals in its “Oplan: Katok.”
