The Philippine national men’s football team is set to compete in a couple of friendlies at the Rizal Memorial Stadium ahead of the FIFA World Cup/AFC Asian Cup joint preliminary qualifiers later this year.
The Azkals will be going up against Nepal and Chinese-Taipei in back-to-back friendlies as part of their preparation at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

After going home empty-handed in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games last month, the Azkals are looking to emerge on top of their friendly competitions as part of their preparation. For the sixth time, the Philippines will face Nepal on Thursday, June 15, which it has played five times in the past that ended up in four wins and a draw. Meanwhile, the Azkals have two wins and three draws against Chinese-Taipei in their past seven encounters. The Philippines will take on the Chinese-Taipei on Monday, June 19.
