Jungkook will be the next BTS member to release a solo album, Korean media reported.

Since the second half of last year, BTS members have focused on their individual activities due to their military service.

Korean media outlet Sports Chosun reported on June 4 that Jungkook is preparing to release his solo album on July 14, which will contain English songs.

Jungkook will follow fellow BTS members who have released solo albums: J-Hope, RM, Jin, Suga and Jimin.

In response to the news report, Big Hit Music, BTS’ agency, said, "The schedule will be released after being confirmed."

In April, Jungkook and HYBE Chairman Bang Si-hyuk met with record producer Andrew Watt.

Jungkook collaborated with Charlie Puth for the song “Left and Right” and released the 2022 FIFA Qatar World Cup theme song “Dreamers.”

On May 9, Guinness World Records announced that Jungkook set the record for fastest solo K-pop artist to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify with 409 days and three tracks.
