Drug courier nabbed with P360,000 worth of shabu in Bacolod

BACOLOD CITY – Policemen arrested an alleged drug courier in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Singcang-Airport here on Saturday, June 3.
ABOUT 53 grams of suspected shabu worth P360,400 were seized by police from an alleged drug courier in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Singcang-Airport, Bacolod City on Saturday, June 3. (Photo courtesy of Bacolod City police) Capt. Melvin Mercado, head of Police Station 8, identified the subject as Aldrin Remegio of Barangay Mambulac, Silay City, Negros Occidental. Confiscated from Remegio were 53 grams of suspected shabu worth P360,400, making him a high-value individual, according to Mercado. Mercado said the suspect was placed under surveillance for two weeks after his name reportedly floated from some drug suspects who were previously arrested. He said the suspect was allegedly tasked to deliver illegal drugs and at the same time collect payments.
