Proud dad moment: Barzaga's son graduates summa cum laude

National Unity Party (NUP) stalwart, Cavite 4th district Rep. Elpidio Barzaga Jr. is one proud father. This, after his youngest son, Lorenzo graduated summa cum laude from Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU). So proud and happy was the veteran congressman that he posted about his son's impressive achievement on Facebook. (Rep. Barzaga's Facebook) Summa cum laude is the highest academic distinction that a student can achieve. This is followed by magna cum laude and cum laude. Lorenzo took up economics. It remains to be seen if he will follow his dad's footsteps in the political arena. Barzaga has two other sons, Francisco and Elpidio III. His wife is Dasmariñas City Mayor Jennifer Barzaga.
