BACOLOD CITY – Two truck drivers who yielded 15 grams of shabu worth P120,000 were arrested during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Robles, La Castellana, Negros Occidental on Wednesday, June 28.

La Castellana police chief Police Major Nelson Amsewin Jr. identified the alleged drug pushers as Jestoni Fajardo, 30, of Barangay Mansalanao, and Elmer Gale, 41, of Barangay Robles.
Amsewin said that both suspects are newly identified individuals, who were placed under monitoring for two weeks.
Police also recovered from them a tooter, an improvised straw scoop, the marked P500 bill, P1,000, an improvised PVC pipe tube, and two lighters.
Amsewin said they will check the background of the suspects for more information about their alleged involvement in the illegal activity.
Drug charges were already filed against the two suspects on Thursday, June 29.
