In a Facebook post, PRC stated that July 7 is the scheduled in-person oathtaking at the UP Diliman in Quezon City, July 8 in Cebu City, and July 10 in Iloilo City. All interested inductees are asked to register at the PRC official website before 12 noon of the day prior to the date of the ceremonies. Since the mass oathtaking will be face-to-face, oath takers must bring either a vaccination card, negative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), or antigen Covid-19 test results taken 48 hours before the ceremony. Moreover, attendees are mandated to print the “oath forms” with the generated quick response (QR) code to be submitted during the event to confirm attendance. For passers who are unable to attend the in-person mass oathtaking, PRC noted that they may attend the online ceremony or request a special appointment. However, the online ceremony will be announced once the schedule has been confirmed. After the oathtaking ceremony, new chemical engineer inductees might proceed to their initial registration by booking an appointment at its website. (Sonny Daanoy)
