Foreigner yields P714,000 shabu in buy-bust

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Central Luzon arrested a foreigner and seized 105 grams of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in Barangay 7, Zone 2, Pasay City on Friday, June 30. The suspect was identified as 26-year-old Chinese Lu Liquiang, alias “Tiger.” PDEA said that it took them about a week before they were able to secure a drug deal with Lu. He also yielded seven vials containing unknown liquid substance, a Suzuki Jimny, and an AR-15 caliber 9mm with magazine and suppressor. The operation was conducted with the PDEA-National Capital Region and Pasay police. Suspect faces charges for violation of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs), Article 2, of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), and RA 10591, Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
