Dad quizzes daughter's boyfriend in viral Tiktok video

* Taking the “getting to know you” phase of their relationship to a new level, a Tiktok user uploaded a video showing her father giving an oral recitation and written exam to her boyfriend during their lunch date. Julyanna Esguerra uploaded a [now viral video](https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSLS4auHH/) of how her boyfriend, Scud Del Pilar, interacted and answered her father's medical-related questions while waiting for their food to be served in a restaurant. Del Pilar, despite having knowledge in the medical field, was seen being nervous and tense while answering the questions that were given to him. He almost even made an illustration of the brachial plexus, but later sighed in relief after Julyanna's father said, "oh h'wag na 'yan, pass na d'yan (Don't do that, let's pass on that)." "Hindi mo sinabing may [mga] tanong pala (You didn't say there would be questions)," Del Pilar jokingly said to his girlfriend. "Hindi ko nga alam eh. Nagulat na lang ako nagtanong si Daddy (I did not know too. I was just as surprised as you that Daddy had questions)," Julyanna laughingly replied. Her father jokingly said in the middle of their meal, "Sige kainin mo muna 'yan. Kapag nakalahati mo na 'yan tatanungin ulit kita (Go ahead and eat first. When you're halfway through, I'll ask you again)," which made both of them burst into laughter. Meanwhile, Julyanna confirmed in her Tiktok's comment section that Del Pilar got a perfect score, made her father smile, and was approved as her boyfriend. Most netizens were amused by the unexpected interaction between the father and the boyfriend, while some commended the boyfriend’s reactions and willingness to answer the questions. Tiktok commenter @sweetabbb2 said “appreciate sa bf mo ate napakagaling niya he did his best. Ganiyan dapat hindi puro "hindi kita iiwan (appreciate your boyfriend, he did his best. That's how it should be, not just saying "I won't leave you”).
