A series of anti-criminality operations by members of the Rizal Police Provincial Office (PPO) in a span of 15 days resulted in the arrest of 260 persons and in the confiscation of illegal drugs and firearms in Rizal Province.
In a statement, the office of Rizal PPO director, Col. Dominic Baccay, said the police operations conducted by police stations and operating units dubbed as Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation (SACLEO) were held from June 13 to 27, 2023.

On operations against illegal drugs, the Rizal PPO recorded a total of 41 police operations, the arrest of 70 persons and the confiscation of 227.57 grams of suspected shabu and 202.4 grams of marijuana all valued at P1,571,764 based on the matrix of the Dangerous Drugs Board.
In the campaign against wanted persons, a total of 104 persons, 30 of them most wanted, were arrested and served with warrants.
During the six operations on loose firearms, five persons were arrested and five firearms seized as part of the report of Col. Baccay to Region 4-A director, Brigadier General Carlito M. Gaces.
Baccay said the Rizal PPO vowed to continue the anti-criminality drive in its effort to ‘root out criminals and secure the
safety of all Rizaleños.
