A 45-year-old woman was arrested by the police in a shabu buy-bust operation in Taguig on June 2.
The Taguig Police Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) apprehended Norhaya Sangkupan in a sting on Maguindanao Street in Purok 2, Barangay New Lower Bicutan.

Authorities recovered eight plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 30 grams with an estimated value of P204,000, and a P500 bill utilized as buy-bust money. She is facing a complaint for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002). "We remain committed to our relentless pursuit of eradicating illegal drugs in our community," said Brig. Gen. Kirby John Kraft, director of the Southern Police District. "The successful operation and arrest are a testament to the dedication and hard work of our Station Drug Enforcement Units and the cooperation of our partners in law enforcement. We will continue to work tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents.”
