Lian Paz reveals daughters with Paolo Contis want surname changed

Former EB babe dancer Lian Paz proudly shared with social media followers pictures from the school commencement exercises of Xonia and Xalene, her daughters with former partner, actor Paolo Contis. On Instagram, Lian related the two ended the school year with honors. She told Xalene, "Yiyin, Thank you for always doing your best in school! I am proud of your achievement, always have! You have been consistent and graduating with high honors is really something. Congratulations!!! Always remember to honor the Lord in everything that you do!"
"Take care of the wisdom the lord gave you! Mama is always here for you in everything. You know that..," she added. "Be grateful always. ILY Always!" Liaz also thanked longtime partner John Cabahug. "Thank you daddy John Cabahug for the love and support for the girls. I am always thankful. I appreciate everything mahal! Congrats may bago mag high school na tayo na naman."
In another post, Lian congratulated Xonia for finishing first year high school as overall top achiever. "You have always been consistent being excellent in school, I am amazed with your perseverance and I am grateful to God for that gift to you. Continue to honor the lord in everything! I am proud of you xonia! always have!!!," she said.

Great Job this school year! To God be the glory!" Many netizens congratulated the family. Some, meanwhile, asked why the girls are still using Contis as a surname.
One wrote: "Bitbit pa apelyido wala naman ambag ahahaha anyway congats.. you have long way to go.. Aim high!" Lian responded: "Asking na nga po ang mga bata to have it changed." "I pray for the day na Cabahug na ang madidinig ko sa last name ng mga girls.. they deserve it.. im sure they will be happy too..," someone related.
