An earthquake with a magnitude measuring 4.1 struck Sulu, said the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
In a bulletin issued Saturday, June 3 at 11:22 a.m., Phivolcs said the seismic event occurred at 11:39 p.m. on Friday, June 2. Its epicenter was traced 13 kilometers (km) northwest of Hadji Panglima Tahil in Sulu. This earthquake was “weak” at Intensity III in Jolo, Sulu. Meanwhile, state seismologists said no damage and aftershocks are expected to follow this quake.
