Sisi Rondina shines in PVL debut as Choco Mucho blasts Farm Fresh
Sisi Rondina shone brilliantly in her Premier Volleyball League debut after helping Choco Mucho blast Farm Fresh, 25-14, 25-7, 25-16, in the PVL Invitational Conference on Thursday, June 29, at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City.
The Flying Titans are off to a winning start in the mid-year conference after dealing the Foxies their second consecutive loss.
Beach volleyball star Rondina, who played her first indoor volleyball game in four years, showed immediate chemistry with Choco Mucho after dropping 14 points highlighted by 13 attacks.

As if the opening set wasn’t remarkable enough, Choco Mucho blanked Farm Fresh early in the second set with a dominant 13-0 start. It wasn’t even the biggest gap of the match as the Flying Titans seized a 2-0 set lead after holding the Foxies to a single-digit production, 25-7. It was all Choco Mucho in the third set despite some resistance from the Farm Fresh side. Former Adamson standout Trisha Tubu’s seven points barely kept the Farm Fresh afloat, while Gayle Pascual, who was the lone bright spot in Foxies’ opening-game loss against F2 Logistics Cargo Movers, had a dismal outing after scoring a single point.
