"Did you live together? Nag-live-in ba kayo ni Andrea Brillantes?"
This is what Boy Abunda asked athlete Ricci Rivero following his controversial split with the young star.
In an interview on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the 25-year-old celebrity said: “Siguro, Tito Boy, from time to time we (did), pero ang gusto kasi ni Tita (Andrea's mother) is for her to go home din."
"At yun din naman ang sinasabi ko na ayoko rin na at this early age, di ba? 'Gusto ko mag-focus ka din sa industry mo, sa work mo, sa goals mo. Ako, kailangan ko rin mag-focus dun sa akin," he added. "Pero there are times that we do sleep together."
Boy asked: "May mga panahon na sa bahay niyo siya umuuwi at ikaw sa bahay nila? Its that the correct understanding of what you're saying?"
Ricci agreed.
Boy later asked him how he thinks the 20-year-old will react to his revelation.
“Knowing her, malulungkot... I am hoping na hindi siya magalit," he said. "Kasi, I am just stating naman yung side ko. Yung totoong nangyari sa side ko."
"Kasi ang naririnig lately du'n sa mga ibang shows or whatsoever, yung side niya. Yung akin, tina-try ko talaga na hindi magsalita dahil yun naman yung usapan namin. I am trying talaga, pero sobra na talaga siguro para dun sa family ko."
Asked if he tried to win Andrea back, Ricci said he didn't.
He explained: "For the longest time, I was trying not to give up on the relationship, and sabi ko, for me to give up, siguro sobrang puno na."
As for his message to Andrea, he said: “She knows why I am speaking up right now. Kasi ang tagal ko nang sinasabi sa kanya... Maayos kaming nag-uusap, maayos kong sinasabi sa kanya na parang, 'Wait lang, bugbog na ako. Ikaw hindi ka nagsasalita kasi lahat ng sympathy, nasa iyo.'
"Okay lang, naiintindihan ko. Hindi ganoon kahirap. Pero sa akin, bugbog na ako, tapos tuwing makikita tayo ng tao na ganito, parang walang problema, maayos na nag-uusap. Parang darating din siguro ako sa time na if hindi man umabot sa time na mag speak up ka for what really happened, siguro magsasalita din ako.”
In the same interview, Ricci denied allegation he cheated on Andrea and that he simply used her for clout.
The two marked their first anniversary as a couple last April.
