Man wanted for attempted murder in Samar arrested in Pasay City

A 24-year-old man wanted for murder in Samar was arrested by members of the Station Intelligence Section (SIS) of the Pasay City Police on Tuesday, June 27. Col. Froilan Uy, city police chief, said the suspect, Marvin Sabangan, 24, was apprehended at around 9:50 p.m. on FB Harrsion St. in Barangay 70, Pasay City. Uy said members of Basey Municipal Police Station in Samar coordinated with members of SIS for the arrest of Sabangan who allegedly went into hiding in Pasay City. Sabangan was nabbed by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Tarcelo A. Sabarre of Basay, Samar Regional Trial Court (RTC) 8thJudicial Region, Branch 30, with recommended bail of P120,000.
