Man found dead in van in Negros

BACOLOD CITY – A 33-year-old man with bullet wounds was found inside a white van parked in an isolated area in Hacienda Manaol, Barangay Matab-ang, Talisay City, Negros Occidental on Thursday, June 29.

(Photo courtesy of Talisay City Police Station) The man was identified by his live-in partner as Brian Mark Agillo of Barangay 36 here, according to the police. Based on police investigation, a security guard who was roving in the area discovered the victim. Police Capt. Abegael Donasco, deputy chief of the Talisay City Police Station, said the victim, who was sitting on the driver’s seat, had bullet wounds in the head and behind his ears. A cartridge of an unknown firearm, a pair of slippers, and car keys were recovered from the crime scene, according to Donasco. Policemen have not released more details about the incident pending further investigation.
