'Laki ng sueldo mo': Guanzon tells Gadon to work, donate to charity

P3PWD Party-list nominee Rowena Guanzon has two simple requests for newly-installed Presidential Adviser for Poverty Alleviation Larry Gadon. In a tweet Thursday, June 29, Guanzon said, "Larry Gadon, tama na yan . Mag trabaho ka na PA (Larry Gadon, enough already. Get to work)." Guanzon couldn't help but bring up Gadon's fat salary from his new post. As such, she asked the latter to do something good with it. "Ang laki ng sueldo mo. Mag donate ka sa kawanggawa (You have a huge salary. Donate to charity)," said the proud kakampink and former Commission on Elections (Comelec) commissioner. News reports said that Gadon's salary is just under P280,000 a month. MalacaÃ±ang announced Gadon's appointment as anti-poverty czar last Monday, June 26. As per the results of a Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey conducted between March 26 and 29, it was revealed that 51 percent or just over half of Filipino families consider themselves as poor.
