After American singer Taylor Swift skipped the Philippines for the Asian leg of her "The Eras Tour," many Filipino fans are now after one thing: taking their chance on getting tickets for her stop either in Singapore or Japan.
Like one of Taylor's songs, fans have described the event as "The Great War." From eight million fans logged in for the first day of Fan Registration, only about 330,000 lucky fans can secure the tickets.
This means an estimated 55,000 fans a day for six days can watch the concert at the Singapore National Stadium in March 2024.
As the general ticket sale date is around the corner, fans nationwide are now on the edge of hoping they will get the lucky link to see Taylor.
Up for the challenge of seeing Taylor Swift live? Here's what to expect in getting tickets for her "The Eras Tour" next year.
Upon entering the Fan Registration general sale that began last June 23 and ended today, June 28, fans from Singapore who hold a UOB bank card will have the chance to purchase their pre-sale tickets from July 5 until July 7.
But it is still a hanging thread if the lucky fan gets an email containing a unique access code heading to Ticketmaster or SingPost outlets.
According to AEG Presents, fans who push through with buying tickets can only have four tickets per transaction. It may seem like easy work, but the pressure of getting the link sets the intensity high.
Although getting tickets to her Singapore tour is quite work, getting tickets for her Japan concert is more challenging.
To get the tickets, fans need to enter a lottery. It means they must submit an application for the lottery and wait for the results to see whether they win.
So, how can they secure the lottery tickets? The answer is simple: just comply with these requirements:
- active Japanese phone number;
- address in Japan;
- AnyPASS account (which is often verified through the Japanese phone number via code or call), and
- a smartphone compatible with the AnyPASS app.
The lottery ticket drawing for the Japan Tour started on June 27 and will end on July 10. An estimated 220,000 fans will get lucky in securing tickets during Taylor's four-day concert in Tokyo. This means that 55,000 fans a day can be accommodated at the Tokyo Dome for four days.
Ticket prices for Japan "The Eras Tour" will start at JPY 8,800 (P3,445) to JPY 30,000 (P11,745). Each buyer is only allowed to get up to four tickets per performance.
Their lowest VIP Package is "I Remember It All Too Well ," which costs JPY 52,800 (P20,673). This includes exclusive merch from the concert, such as four Taylor Swift posters, The Eras Tour commemorative tote bag, pin badges, stickers, postcard sets, concert picture tickets for collectors, and a laminated VIP Tour pass and strap.
Other VIP Packages: "Karma Is My Boyfriend" (JPY 30,000 or P11,517) and "It's Been A Long Time Coming" (JPY 122,800 or P48,078).
