Around 3,000 Muslims went to the Quezon (QMC) Memorial Circle in Quezon City to commemorate the Eid'l Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice.
Those who went to the QMC were residents of Quezon City and from nearby cities, the local government said.
The faithful gathered at the Liwasang Aurora inside the QMC to offer prayers to Allah.
Different activities including cultural performances and Qur'an reading were also held during the event.
The Feast of the Sacrifice is the second most important event in the Islamic calendar, which is a time of joy and celebration of Muslims around the world, the local government said.

It added that the feast signifies the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim, known as Abraham in Christianity and Judaism, to sacrifice his son Ismail as told in the Old Testament.
"The Quezon City Government joins our Muslim brothers and sisters in the observance and celebration of Eid’l Adha," the city government said.
"May this Feast of Sacrifice and faith in Allah bring peace, prosperity, and success to you and your loved ones," it added.
