[Attrakt issued a statement on June 26](https://mb.com.ph/2023/6/26/warner-music-korea-accused-of-trying-to-poach-k-pop-sensation-fifty-fifty) naming Warner Music Korea and a third party as the ones that were trying to lure Fifty Fifty out of the agency. "It seems that an outsourcing service company and Warner Music Korea are involved behind the recent external force's attempts to poach the members. We caught the situation in which an outsourcing company approached Warner Music Korea and offered to sell Fifty Fifty. We have already captured substantial evidence of an apparent attempt to illegally poach Fifty Fifty members," it said. After the allegations were reported, Warner Music Korea issued a statement to deny the accusations by Attrakt. “First of all, Warner Music Korea is an overseas distributor of Fifty Fifty, and has been working since April 1, 2023. Since signing the contract, we have been doing our best to mobilize Warner Music Group's capabilities and networks so that the brilliant achievements achieved by Fifty Fifty and the agency can shine even more, but it is very regrettable that unsavory suspicions have been raised,” Warner Music Korea said. It added, “Warner Music Korea respects the opinions of artists and their agencies, and as a global distributor, we have been doing our best to date, and we are proud that this has been proven with various achievements” “The claims made by Attract are unfounded, and we also express our regret about sending the certificate of contents,” it said. Fifty Fifty have made headlines for entering the Billboard Hot 100 and UK charts through their viral song “Cupid.”
