Taguig's No. 1 most wanted person for statutory rape arrested
A 56-year-old man, tagged as the No.1 most wanted person by the Taguig police for the crime of statutory rape, was arrested on June 26.
The accused was identified by the police as Edwin Jamon, a barber, who had a pending warrant of arrest for statutory rape issued on May 17 by Judge Loralie Cruz Datahan of the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 69.

Jamon was arrested in an operation by the Taguig police’s Warrant and Subpoena Unit and the 6th Mobile Force Company-Regional Mobile Force Battalion (MFC-RMFB) on Rambutan Street, Barangay North Signal Village, Taguig.
After his arrest, he was turned over to the Taguig police’s custodial facility pending the issuance of a commitment order from the court.
