Sandra Cam voluntarily surrenders in Masbate

CAMP OLA, Albay – Former Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Board Member Sandra Cam surrendered to the Masbate City police after a court issued a warrant of arrest against her on Monday, June 26. Police Lt. Col. Malu Calubaquib, Police Regional Office-5 spokesperson, said Cam, 63, a resident of Batuan town, Masbate, yielded at 6:40 p.m. after Judge Rolando G. Sandigan of the Metropolitan Trial Court in Cities in Masbate City issued a warrant of arrest for violation of Presidential Decree 1829 in relation to Article 19 of the Revised Penal Code (Obstruction of Apprehension and Prosecution of Criminal Offenders). She was tagged as one of the suspects in the killing of Batuan Vice Mayor Mayor Charlie Yuson III in Sampaloc, Manila in 2019. Cam was charged with murder but was acquitted by the court. She is in the custody of Masbate City police.
