LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – Nine police personnel from the Police Regional Office-Cordillera were awarded Philippine National Police medals in recognition of their efforts and commendable performance in their sworn duties and responsibilities during the flag-raising ceremony in Camp Major Bado Dangwa here on Monday, June 26.
The Medalya ng Kasanayan (PNP Efficiency Medal) was awarded to Police Col. Andrew Aguirre and Police Executive Master Sgt. Bill Capya-ao of the Regional Finance Service Office-15 (RFSO 15) and Police Executive Master Sgt. Brien Mayos and Non-Uniformed Personnel Jayson Pollosco of the Regional Comptrollership Division (RCD) and NUP Leonarda Senio of the Benguet Police Provincial Office for their invaluable services rendered as facilitators of the successful Annual Management Audit for Fiscal Year 2022 from May 16 to 19.
The Medalya ng Kagalingan was awarded to Police Master Sgt. Lexy Aliba and Police Staff Sgt. Dexter Telan of the Ifugao Police Provincial for the successful service of a warrant of arrest for the No. 4 Most Wanted Person, regional level, for the second quarter of calendar year 2023 for the crime of statutory rape;
Police Capt. Filmore Pasiwen and Police Patrolman Johnny Nay-osan of the Baguio City Police Office or the successful service of a warrant of arrest for the No. 7 Most Wanted Person, city level, for the first quarter of calendar year 2023 for violation of the New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016 (Republic Act 10883) on March 21.
Police Brig. Gen. David Peredo Jr., PRO-Cordillera director, and Director Renato Rosales, officer-in-charge of the Commission on Audit-Cordillera, guest of honor and speaker, led the presentation of medals to the awardees.
