Maynilad announces 13-hour water interruptions in Bacoor, Imus starting June 28

Maynilad Water Services, Inc. announced water service interruptions in portions of Bacoor City and Imus City in Cavite from June 28 until August 8. In a Facebook post on June 25, Maynilad says their customers will have no water from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. during the scheduled dates as they conduct maintenance work at Putatan Water Treatment Plant 2. Affected areas in Bacoor include Molino II, Molino III, Molino IV, Mollino VI, Molino VII, Queens Row Central, Queens Row East, Queens Row West, and San Nicolas III. In Imus, Maynilad customers in Pasong Buaya I and Pasong Buaya II will also experience water service interruptions. The water services provider will replace the first three of the 14 ultrafiltration (UF) membranes at Putatan Water Treatment Plant 2. The 14 UF membranes are scheduled to be replaced in batches to maintain optimum filtration capacity. Affected customers, meanwhile, are advised to store water so they may have enough supply for their daily needs.
