Marcos admin’s satisfaction rating slips slightly in Q1 2023 — survey
Filipinos’ satisfaction with the general performance of the administration of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. fell slightly by four points in March 2023, as shown in the results of an OCTA Research survey released on Tuesday, June 27.
The “Tugon ng Masa” survey, which was conducted from March 24 to 28 with 1,200 respondents nationwide, found that 72 percent of Filipinos were satisfied with the performance of the Marcos administration in the first quarter of 2023.
However, 8 percent were dissatisfied with the Marcos government’s general performance.
“Despite the high satisfaction [rating], there is a nominal decrease [of] four percentage points from the last survey [in October 2022],” OCTA pointed out.
Meanwhile, it noted that the 8 percent dissatisfaction rating is “about roughly the same from the last survey since the 3 percent increase is within the margin of error of +/-3 percent).”
