BAGUIO CITY – Police arrested a 38-year-old man after a marijuana plant was found growing in his house in Bakakeng Sur here on Thursday, June 22.
Investigation said the Baguio City Police Office-Station 10 (Marcos Highway) received a report about a domestic violence incident in the suspect’s house.
Police discovered a marijuana plant in front of the suspect’s house and dried leaves on their dining table upon arrival.
The suspect, Randy Paraan, tagged as a street-level individual (SLI), was arrested. Confiscated from him were a fully grown marijuana plant and a plastic sachet containing suspected dried marijuana leaves weighing more or less five grams with a standard drug price of P600.
Markings and inventories of pieces of evidence were conducted on-site in the presence of the suspect and duly witnessed by representatives from the Department of Justice (DOJ) and barangay officials.
