Man stabbed dead by brother in Negros

BACOLOD CITY – A 37-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death by his brother during a drinking session in Barangay Tiling, Cauayan, Negros Occidental on Saturday, June 24. Police identified the victim as Orly Estrabela, 37, of Barangay Tiling. Investigation said the victim and the suspect, Ronel, along with their other sibling, were having a drinking session at the suspect’s house when they figured in a commotion. The victim left after they were pacified but the suspect reportedly followed and stabbed him. Orly was taken to the Cauayan District Hospital where he was declared dead. Ronel fled and police are conducting hot pursuit operation against him. Police did not elaborate what triggered the commotion.
