Lee O'Brian opens up on deportation issue

Lee O'Brian recently filed a counter affidavit relating to the complaint filed by his former partner, Marietta "Pokwang" Subong. In an interview with reporter MJ Marfori, Lee asked authorities to look into the matter without prejudice. He said: "Given the fact that the complainant is very well-known, widely known throughout this country and very, very influential, I am basically asking and pleading with the Philippine government and the Bureau of Immigration to look at my case, my deportation case fairly and with justice." "According to the merits of the case and whatever I've filed here, I would plead with them to look at it justly," he added.
Lee reiterated that he will always respect the mother of his child. He added: "Because this is kind of a quasi-judicial issue for the Bureau of Immigration I can't comment on details. That's just the nature of the issue. But I want to say something that from the beginning throughout until today and beyond from here on out I always put the best interest of my daughter first. I love my daughter more than anything."
On Instagram, Pokwang shared the statement of her legal counsel, Atty. Ralph Calinisan. It read: "We maintain that Mr. William Lee O'Brian must be deported immediately from the Philippines. Undesirable aliens have no place in this country. With this case we are pursuing, we are putting a stop to the gross manipulation of Philippine Immigration laws and the acts of abuse against our client, Ms. Marietta Subong. The Philippines must be a safe place for everyone, especially us Filipinos." The actress filed the petition against Lee early this month.
