GOSSIP GIRL: 80s star Caselyn Francisco discovers gender of this popular actor

At a glance

  • Just a blind item. A very popular actor partied on his Amsterdam rooftop a few years ago. Caselyn invited him to the Pride parade which is the biggest and most fun parade in Europe and the popular actor answered, “Oh, I’m not gay.”

AMSTERDAM - The day before my comedy concert, I was invited by a Filipina friend to have dinner in a posh Chinese restaurant in the heart of Amsterdam. She had another Pinay girlfriend with her named Cass who was a singer in a luxury cruise ship. We were talking about different topics under the sun and when the three-hour dinner was almost over I asked her family name. She said it was Francisco. Then I said, “Oh back in the 90s, there was an actress in a TV show called "That’s Entertainment" named Caselyn Francisco….OMG! Are you Caselyn Francisco? I’m a fan”.

C’mon, give me a break! Everybody’s face changes after 30 years! She also graduated from her Miss Saigon body which was 34-24-34. That was the Caselyn I remember. Who stays 34-24-34 after 30 years anyway? I started shooting questions left and right like an entertainment writer in a press conference. The informal dinner suddenly turned into a press conference.

“When I got the role of Kim in 'Miss Saigon' in the ‘90s, I left the Philippines to do 'Miss Saigon' in Germany and then I did Saigon here in Amsterdam. I fell in love with this city, so after Saigon, I auditioned for other Broadway roles which I landed in 'Oliver,' 'Rent,' and 'Jesus Christ Superstar.' I was Mary Magdalene in JCS. But I needed a steady income so I decided to join a cast in a crew ship where we sing nightly Broadway songs and popular 80s and 90s music. And to answer your question, yes I do have a boyfriend, he is a crew member of the same luxury liner. No plans for marriage yet and at my age, no more plans of having kids. And yes I have plans of visiting the Philippines this July but no plans on touching base with 'That’s Entertainment' stars because I am sure they already have their own lives and families and I don’t want to bother their schedules. I don’t like being a burden," said the 80s icon who was my favorite actress in "Magic Temple" (1996).

After dinner, we went to another theater actor’s house named Arwin who lived with his Dutch husband in the Netherlands. He was the funniest among everyone and we all had a great time on the rooftop of his home in Amsterdam.

Just a blind item. A very popular actor partied on his Amsterdam rooftop a few years ago. Caselyn invited him to the Pride parade which is the biggest and most fun parade in Europe and the popular actor answered, “Oh, I’m not gay.”

Finally! Now all your queries die with his answer. I know this award-winning actor, he is a man of God. He does not lie. I just never had the guts to ask him straight in his face. We’re not that close for me to be able to ask him.  So when he says he is not gay then he is not gay. Condolences to the millions of Maritess, Marisols, and Maricons that have been spreading the rumors that he is gay. Start burying the rumor. He finally answered the elephant in the room.
