  • "For that, I will be forever grateful. "I still can’t express how happy and thankful I am for everything that is happening to me."

Christi Fider was on the verge of quitting when Manic Media Philippines encouraged her to accept herself and show people who she really is as an artist.

"For that, I will be forever grateful. "I still can’t express how happy and thankful I am for everything that is happening to me."

Being in the industry, Christi said that she wants to represent big girls as well "kasi kulang ng ganitong representation sa industry."

"I also want to tell people na hindi mo kailangan ng sobrang payat para makapasok ka rito. Let's face it - Adele, Meghan Trainor. Dito sa Philippines, wala pang ganun," she added.

Christi said that her song "Reyna" pays tribute to the LGBTQ+ community, which she said is very appropriate for Pride Month.

Marami akong friends from the LGBTQ+ community and they support my song. Even the drag accounts they share my song and I'm thankful for that dahil naging part sila ng journey ko," she said.

When asked is she's part of the LGBTQ+ community, Christi answered: "Ayoko pong magsalita ng tapos. Right now I'm into guys. Pero ayoko talaga magsalita ng tapos."

But is Christi open to being a member of the LGBTQ+ community? "I fall into personality and feelings. My girl crushes are Anne Hathaway pero sa local, gandang-ganda ako kay Nadine Lustre."

Christi also said that she still couldn't tell if she was gender fluid.

Sabi nila straight ako pero ayoko talaga magsalita ng tapos," she said.

At 23, Christi revealed she was still a virgin.

Ang gusto ko sa guy is loyal and understanding. I believe na kapag loyal ang isang tao and iniintindi ka niya everything will fall into places," she added.

Christi added that she's not a perfectionist when it comes to having a relationship."Mabilis lang talaga siguro ako ma-turn off.

She said that she still can’t express how happy and thankful she is for everything that is happening to her.

"To everyone who organized the launch - Direk Pancho, Des, Tita Pilar, Tita Tine, My mom, and Tito Greg thank you so much for all of your efforts. I know super ngarag and busy talaga kayo but still you guys chose to help us. Thank you also to Tito Jobert Sucaldito and Music Box for welcoming us and letting us use your venue."

Christi recalled how one of her songs "Fake" came about. And I'm happy na maraming nakaka-relate sa song."

Her other songs "Breakthrough," and "3rd Street" are available on various streaming music platforms.
