Ayala Land donates land to build Philippine Red Cross Vermosa
Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI) turned over 859 square meters of land in Vermosa, Cavite to the Philippine Red Cross (PRC). The donated land will be used to build the Philippine Red Cross Vermosa and will serve as PRC’s headquarters in Cavite.
PRC chairman and CEO Richard “Dick” Gordon emphasized the importance of partnership in achieving the organization’s goals.
“This partnership reflects our shared commitment to make a difference in the lives of our fellow Filipinos. We believe that by working together, we can create a better future for our communities, where healthcare services are readily accessible, and the well-being of every Filipino is a top priority,” said ALI president and CEO Bernard Vincent O. As the primary blood center in Cavite, PRC Vermosa will provide critical health care to those in need. The center will also serve as a facility for education and training of medication professionals in the field of transfusion medicine.
Among the services that will be available in PRC Vermosa are blood services (collection, testing and processing), 24/7 emergency service, First Aid & Emergency Training Center, Red Cross Youth program, social services, safety services and conduct of the disaster management services program.
Vermosa, an Ayala Land estate, covers the cities of Imus, Dasmariñas, and Cavite which makes it the ideal location for PRC to service the region. The blood center will be a welcome addition to the growing community in the 752-hectare estate in Cavite which brings together residential, retail, and business spots in one destination bolstered by sports and fitness amenities.
