The agency of K-pop girl group Fifty Fifty, whose song “Cupid” became viral, accused Warner Music Korea of trying to poach the members into signing management contracts.
Fifty Fifty, composed of four members, debuted in November last year under Korean label Attrakt.

On June 26, Attrakt issued a statement, saying, "It seems that an outsourcing service company and Warner Music Korea are involved behind the recent external force's attempts to poach the members."
Attrakt sent a certification of content to Warner Music Korea, demanding an explanation.
"We caught the situation in which an outsourcing company approached Warner Music Korea and offered to sell Fifty Fifty. We have already captured substantial evidence of an apparent attempt to illegally poach Fifty Fifty members," it said.
In April, Attrakt signed a partnership with Warner Records for Fifty Fifty’s entry into the North American market. Warner Music Korea is a branch of Warner Music Group.
Attrakt earlier said that external forces were trying to poach Fifty Fifty without mentioning names.
"We cannot contain our anger at the illegal acts of impure outside forces trying to rob this tremendous miracle achieved by a small and powerless agency,” the agency said of Fifty Fifty’s achievements.
