Muntinlupa's active Covid-19 cases decrease; bivalent vaccination continues
Muntinlupa City continued to show a downtrend in the weekly total number of active Covid-19 cases.
From June 20 to 26, the City Health Office (CHO) recorded 13 active Covid-19 cases, a decrease by seven, or 35 percent, from 20 cases tallied from June 13 to 19.

Of the nine barangays in Muntinlupa, Tunasan, Bayanan, and Buli have zero active Covid-19 cases. Of the remaining 13, three cases each are registered in Putatan, Ayala Alabang, and Cupang while there are two each in Poblacion and Sucat.
In the past week, Muntinlupa tallied 24 new Covid-19 cases, 31 recoveries, and zero deaths. As of June 26, there are zero probable and suspected cases in Muntinlupa.
Meanwhile, hospitals in Muntinlupa continued to vaccinate their health workers with the Pfizer Bivalent Vaccines, which are being used as third booster shots.
The Department of Health’s Metro Manila Center for Health Development initially allocated 726 vials or 4,356 doses for Muntinlupa for A1 or health workers in hospitals.
The city-run Ospital ng Muntinlupa was allocated 500 doses. As of last update, 42 health workers at the hospitals received the bivalent vaccines.
Other hospitals in Muntinlupa that were allocated the new vaccine are the Asian Hospital and Medical Center, Research Institute for Tropical Medicine, Medical Center Muntinlupa, Alabang Medical Center, Alabang Medical Clinic and Muntinlupa Doctors Clinic.
The CHO is awaiting guidelines for the other priority groups.
