Marco Gumabao reveals romance with Cristine Reyes started at the gym

Marco Gumabao is in love. He can't hide it. It is more than obvious and he agrees. "Well, you can't hide happiness," he told us. "I mean makikita at makikita yan e and obvious naman why I'm happy." His source of happiness? He said, "Tinatanong pa ba yon? I'm sure you guys all know." Note the actor made public his ongoing romance with Cristine Reyes not long ago. He did so via social media. “I surprised her," he related. "Kakahiwalay lang namin nun. We went somewhere tapos I just waited for a bit then I posted it." "It wasn't our intention to hide our relationship," he maintained. "We were just looking for the right timing." But how did it all start really? Marco blurted, "Sa gym." "I mean I knew her from before and we were close friends. Pero there was no romance. Kahit crush ko na siya even then." The two got close filming "Martyr or Murderer."   "One time she told me gusto niya mag-gym pero wala siyang kasama e, me and Jake (Cuenca) we were going din to the gym so I told her, ‘Sabay ka sa amin ni Jake.’ That’s how it started.”  “Sabay-sabay na kaming nag-wo-workout nun. And that's how it developed." So how would he describe their relationship? "It's fun. No pressure at all at the same time, I feel safe. She makes me feel safe."
