K-pop boy band NCT DoJaeJung, composed of Doyoung, Jaehyun and Jungwoo, received loud cheers and screams from Pinoy fans as they held their first media conference on June 25 at Ayala Malls Glorietta in Makati.

The trio answered questions from the media including Manila Bulletin about their career including their “Perfume” Fancon in Manila held on June 24.

NCT DoJaeJung made their debut in April with the album “Perfume” and the members said they were happy to perform together as a subunit of NCT.

“Of course when we heard the news that we will be formed as NCT DoJaeJung, we were happy about the news and we also thought our fans would be happy to hear this news,” said Doyoung.

According to Jaehyun, “I was really curious about the concept” while Jungwoo said “they were happy and excited.”

Doyoung, Jaehyun and Jungwoo are also members of NCT 127, which held their first group concert in Manila last September.

When asked what would make NCT DoJaeJung come back to the Philippines, Jaehyun said, “I would say this moment.”

“All the energy that we are receiving right now is such an honor,” he said.

Jungwoo said, “I really felt the warmth of the people here. I think this is the reason why it allows me and makes me want to come back to the Philippines. And I really appreciate this opportunity to come back and see you all once again,” said Jungwoo.

The huge crowd that gathered at the Glorietta Activity Center was a testament on how fans waited for NCT DoJaeJung, according to Doyoung.

“When I saw all of you here, I was able to feel how much you guys waited for us. I was able to feel how much you guys love us so I really appreciate this,” he said.

Doyoung thanked fans who attended their fan con in Manila “for showing love for us yesterday during our fan concert. If you continue to love and cheer for us, it will allow us to come to the Philippines more often.”
