Covid-19 positivity rate continues to drop in Metro Manila, other Luzon provinces — OCTA
The seven-day positivity rate of Covid-19 in Metro Manila and some provinces in Luzon further decreased in the past week, the OCTA Research said on Monday, June 26.
Metro Manila’s Covid-19 positivity rate, or the number of individuals who yielded positive results from those who were tested for Covid-19, fell to 6 percent on June 24, from 7.2 percent on June 17, OCTA Research fellow Dr. Guido David said in an update posted on social media.
The World Health Organization has set a 5 percent positivity rate as a benchmark.
David added that the seven-day positivity rates in “most” provinces in Luzon have also decreased.
