Cop wounded while arresting murder suspect in Laguna receives aid
CAMP GENERAL PACIANO RIZAL, Laguna – A police officer wounded while serving a warrant of arrest in San Pablo City, this province, has received financial assistance from the Laguna Police Provincial Office led by Police Col. Randy Glenn Silvio.
Police Staff Sgt. Nero Cuentas was implementing a warrant of arrest with other operatives of the San Pablo City Police Station at 6:20 p.m. in Barangay Santo Niño against a man, alias “Noel,” wanted for murder.

Cuentas was taken to the San Pablo City Medical Center while the suspect was rushed to the San Pablo City General Hospital where was declared dead by the attending physician. Silvio cited the San Pablo City police for their efforts in arresting wanted persons. He visited Cuentas and provided him financial assistance while recuperating at the San Pablo City General Hospital.
