The Philippine Blu Boys made their title campaign felt at the 2023 Men’s Softball Asia Cup after scoring twin victories in Kochi, Japan on Sunday, June 25.
The Blu Boys first displayed their might with a 5-1 victory over India before they returned a few hours later with a 7-1 thumping of Chinese Taipei. “The Blu Boys have trained so hard for this. It has been a delight to watch how formidable the team is right now,” said Amateur Softball Association of the Philippines (ASAPHIL) President Jean Henri Lhuillier. The Blu Boys, however, will have their hands full on Monday, June 26, when they take on Singapore in the morning and defending champion Japan in the afternoon.
