Pokwang reacts to netizens questioning her new title

Pokwang wittily responded to online users who are questioning her appointment as Mrs. Universe Philippines Queen Celebrity Icon Ambassadress 2023. She did so borrowing a line from Vilma Santos' character from "Sister Stella L." Pokwang wrote: "Sa mga nag que Question bakit daw ako? Kung di ako sino? Kung di ngayon kailan? Katarungan para kay ka Dencio!!! (rolling on the floor laughing emoji)." The post was accompanied by a clip of her proudly flaunting her crown and sash.
Many reacted to it. Veteran actor John Arcilla even commented: "Tumbling ako sa caption Powk! Taena, walang kayang lumampas sa yo! Panalo! (raising hands and fire emojis) GRRRRRRROOOWL! Labyu!" DJ Chacha added: "Laban mamang (face with tears of joy, raising hands, and fire emojis)" Roxanne Guinoo, meanwhile, congratulated Pokwang on her latest milestone. Apart from Pokwang, the Mrs. Universe Philippines Organization also appointed Andrea del Rosario as Mrs. Universe Philippines Tourism Ambassadress 2023.
