K-pop boy band iKON to hold ‘Take Off’ concert in Manila; ticket prices announced 


K-pop boy band iKON will be returning to Manila in August for their world tour. 

Composed of Jay, Song, Bobby, DK, Ju-ne and Chan, iKON will hold their “2023 iKON World Tour Take Off in Manila” on Aug. 5, 6 p.m. at Araneta Coliseum.

This will be iKON’s return to the Philippines in almost a year since performing at the “2002 K-pop Masterz Ep. 2 in Manila” show in September last year. 

iKON made their debut in 2015 and are known for the hit songs “Love Scenario” and “Killing Me.” 

“Take Off” is also the name of their new album “Take Off,” which was released under their new agency, 143 Entertainment. 

The album is fronted by the song “U” along with nine other tracks: “Tantara,” “Rum Pum Pum,” “Like a Movie,” “Driving Slowly,” “Never Forget You,” “All the Way Here,” “Fighting” and “Kiss Me.”

By the end of May, “Take Off” had sold 123,157 copies, according to Hanteo Chart. 

The “Take Off” tour started in Seoul and spans major countries in Asia, US and Europe.

Upper Box B                        – P3,500

Ticketing charges will be added to the prices. Ticket selling will start at noon on July 16 at Ticketnet outlets nationwide or online via www.ticketnet.com.ph.

The show is presented by 143 Entertainment, ACM, and the Philippines’ K-pop concert pioneers Pulp Live World and Happee Hour. 

Pulp Live World is also bringing the iKON world tour to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Singapore.
