The league announced it on social media, adding that Slaughter will stay for the 2023-24 season.

The 7-foot cager played limited minutes and averaged 4.7 points and 3.0 rebounds for the Rising Zephyr, who finished the season with a 20-40 win-loss record.

Slaughter was one of the Filipinos who signed extension contracts with their squads. Among them were Kiefer and Thirdy Ravena, Bobby Ray Parks Jr, Dwight Ramos and Kai Sotto.

The former Ginebra standout signed with B2's Fukuoka last year, making his departure from the PBA.

He played for Barangay Ginebra for seven years and a year with North Port Batang Pier before bringing his talent abroad.
