P345,000 'shabu' seized, 5 suspects nabbed in Dasmariñas buy-bust

CAVITE – Authorities arrested five suspects in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit in Dasmariñas City on Thursday, June 22. Cavite Police Provincial Office identified the suspects as Francis Hayag, Vincent Nazareno, Darius Icoy, Rona Buenacosa, and Auria Lorelei Leachon. Confiscated from their possession were more or less 50 grams of suspected “shabu” with an estimated street value of P345,000. The suspects are now under police custody and are facing drug charges. The pieces of evidence, on the other hand, were turned over to Cavite Provincial Forensic Unit for examination.
