Maynilad announces water service interruptions in Pasay City, Las Piñas, Parañaque
Several barangays in the cities of Pasay, Las Piñas, and Parañaque will experience water service interruptions from June 26 to 27.
According to a Maynilad advisory, the water service interruption is due to the replacement of the butterfly valve and power cables at the Pasay pumping station and preventive maintenance work on the facility’s transformer.
Starting June 26 at 10:00 p.m. up to 8:00 a.m. on June 27, the barangays that will be affected by the water service interruption are Barangays BF International, CAA, D. Fajardo,Ilaya, E. Aldana, Manuyo Uno and Dos in Las Piñas.
In Parañaque City, nine villages will be affected by the water service interruption, namely: Barangays Baclaran, Don Galo, La Huerta, Moonwalk, San Dionisio,Sto. Nino, Tambo, San Isido and Vitatez.
Maynilad added that water consumers in Barangay Moonwalk will also experience water service interruption in Bicol Region, Multinational Village, Sitio Gulayan, Valenzuela Compound, and Villanueva Village.
In Pasay City, the affected villages are Barangays 10 to 13; 26; 28 to 31; 38 to 40; 76 to 78; 145 to 153;156; 178; 179;181;184;186 to 195; and 197 to 200.
According to Maynilad, the water service interruption will be implemented in several communities in Parañaque and Pasay starting at 10:00 p.m. of June 26 up to 6:00 p.m. of June 27.
The water service interruption will affect residents of Barangays BF Homes in the areas of BF Kanluran; BF Midwest, BF Northwest; BF Parklane; BF Thai; BF Triple T, and Ellysium.
In Barangay San Isidro, the areas to be affected are FC Santos Compound; Fortunata Village; Garden City 1-3; Justina Village; Lop[ez Village, Lovewin Subdivision; Marquez Compound; San DionisioVillage; SAV-2; SAV-6; Silverios Compound; Simplicio Cruz; UPS-5; Villa Mendoza Subdivision and Vitalez Compound.
The affected barangays in Pasay City are 159; 161 to 163; 165 to 167; 169 and 171 to 175.
Residents were advised to store enough water for their consumption before the scheduled water service interruption.
