Award-winning OPM singer KZ Tandingan got candid about starting a family with her husband, TJ Monterde. During the launch of her newest single, "Dito Ka Lang," at the Academy of Rock in Quezon City on June 22, the OPM singer shared that they still have no plans of having a baby while enjoying their marriage. "We are hoping to still enjoy our time ng together, kami lang because as you all know, we got married at the height of the pandemic and we never got a honeymoon na talagang kumbaga, aalis kami ng bansa and only focus is honeymoon," KZ mentioned during the ambush interview. (We are hoping to still enjoy our time together, just us, because as you all know, we got married at the height of the pandemic, and we never got a honeymoon which is really like, we are leaving the country and the only focus is the honeymoon) Being together for nine years, KZ and TJ got engaged in 2019 and tied the knot a year later. KZ also shared what she learned about their relationship as husband and wife three years into their marriage. "As time goes by you'll learn na love is not just about one thing kumbaga may mga kilig, but after we got married, we realized that when you commit to a person, it takes a lot of hard work," KZ added. (As time goes by, you'll learn that love is not just about one thing, there are romantic excitement, but after we got married, we realized that when you commit to a person, it takes a lot of hard work.) As a tribute to her love for TJ, KZ dedicated her new song, "Dito Ka Lang" to him. According to her, the song was inspired when TJ went on tour abroad while KZ stayed in the country. "Hindi ko talaga siya makita as a song for myself para sa ibang tao talaga siya, kaya nakashelf lang siya hindi ko tinapos, then itong si TJ nagtour ng mga isang buwan sa Canada, and that was the first time na we were apart for more than two weeks since we started dating nine years ago, so nung nawala siya nung isang buwan parang nawalan ng direksyon yung buhay ko, so dun parang binalikan ko yung kanta kasi I miss TJ so much," she said. (I can't really see it as a song for myself, it's really for other people, so it's just on the shelf, and I didn't finish it, then TJ toured for about a month in Canada, and that was the first time we were apart for more than two weeks since we started dating nine years ago, so when he disappeared for a month, my life seemed to have lost its direction, so it was like I returned to the song because I miss TJ so much) "Dito Ka Lang" will be the first track featured in KZ's upcoming full-length album, "Soul Supremacy II." It's a follow-up to her hit album "Soul Supremacy" released under Star Music in 2017. Produced by ABS CBN Music creative director Jonathan Manalo, the song was also arranged by Grammy winners Jackie Boom and Jett Galindo of The Bakery LA.
