Celebrity lawyer confirms she is the new attorney of TAPE

Celebrity lawyer Maggie Abraham-Garduque has confirmed that she is the new attorney of the Television and Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE), the producer of the longest running noontime show “Eat Bulaga” and majority owned by the Jalosjos family.   Abraham-Garduque clarified to

"But I did not replace Belo Gozon law office ha? Belo Gozon never became the lawyer of Tape Inc./Jalosjos," she said.  “Eat Bulaga” has a new cast with the departure of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon.  There is a dispute on who owns the “Eat Bulaga” trademark. According to Abraham-Garduque, she will still schedule a meeting with the legal team on this matter.  About the transfer of the rival show “It’s Showtime” to GMA’s GTV channel, she said, "We welcome ‘It's Showtime on the Kapuso network. Ngayon mas lalong magiging masaya sa GMA." "Belonging on the same network, it will serve as an opportunity for ‘Eat Bulaga’ and ‘It’s Showtime’ to collaborate to be able to provide more fun and entertainment to our viewers," she said.  Abraham-Garduque is also known as the lawyer of TV host Vhong Navarro in his recently dismissed case filed by model Deniece Cornejo.
