The Municipal Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (MTF-ELCAC) and the local government of Baggao in Cagayan successfully held a Serbisyo Caravan on Friday, June 16.
At least 500 residents in Barangay C. Versoza benefitted from basic social services provided by the MTF-ELCAC, local government of Baggao, 77th Infantry Battalion, Camp Mechor F. dela Cruz Station Hospital, 1365th Dental Detachment, and Philippine National Police.
Army 5th Infantry Division spokesman Major Roger Pamittan said residents received medical checkups with free medicines and vitamins and dental checkups and tooth extraction.
Single parents were given rice assistance while others received seedlings.
The Philippine Statistics Authority provided residents with assistance regarding their national ID registration.
Troops from the Army 77th Infantry Battalion offered free circumcision and haircut while the PNP conducted feeding activities for children.
“The MTF-ELCAC and LGU Baggao has been actively conducting Serbisyo Caravan in the far-flung areas of the said town in order to address the issues and concerns of the residents,” Pamittan said.
